Contraindications
Any person that falls into one or more of the categories listed below should NOT use the Sunetics Clinical Hair Growth Laser

If a patient has glaucoma, cataracts, or retinal detachment, check with their eye doctor before starting laser light therapy.

If a patient has a rash accompanied by a fever, have them call their doctor before starting laser light therapy (the patient may have an infection such as measles or chicken pox).

If a patient's skin or eyes are highly sensitive to light, avoid laser light therapy.

If a patient has any type of medically diagnosed bipolar disorder, avoid laser light therapy.

If a patient has a history of keloid scarring (overgrowth of scar tissue).

An active herpes infection (cold sores).

Other skin infections such as impetigo at the site to be treated.

If a patient has a history of sensitivity to light that may cause the skin to develop a rash or any other reaction.

Women who are pregnant or lactating.

Never allow a patient to look directly into the laser light source during the therapy.
