Protocols
Examples of Sunetics Laser Protocols Utilized & Recommended by Physicians |
Here are two examples of laser protocols (1 Year Program) that have been utilized and recommended by physicians. Each laser treatment is 20 minutes. The laser treatments should be scheduled with one day in between; they should not be done two days in a row.
Physicians may recommend additional treatments or make changes to these protocols based on the individual’s condition or progress.
Plan A - 48 treatments:
Two treatments a week for 12 weeks = 24
One treatment a week for 12 weeks = 12
Two treatments a month for 6 months = 12 (every other week)
Total Treatments over 52 weeks = 48
Allow 1 day between treatments
Plan B - 48 treatments:
Three treatments a week for 4 weeks = 12
Two Treatments a week for 4 weeks = 8
One treatment a week for 16 weeks = 16
Two Treatments a month for 6 months = 12 (every other week)
Total Treatments over 52 weeks = 48
Allow 1 day between treatments
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM:
Post treatment (after 1 Year Program) may consist of one Booster Treatment under the Clinical Laser per month or once every 2 months. Many physicians also recommend the Sunetics Laser Brush for at-home use.

The hydraulic arm allows for the use of very comfortable chairs in a relaxed atmosphere.
For Tracking Patient Results

Analyzing the hair shaft for density as well as for new growth
Many physicians use the ProScope which takes digital photos of 50X – 200X magnification of scalp hair and compares photos months later to show patient progress.
Tracking patient results is a major key in monitoring a patient’s progress and helping the patient be compliant to the protocol. A Proscope or Folliscope should be used to track up-close measurements of the hair shaft for density as well as for new growth. Typically at 3, 6, 9, and 12 month intervals, Global Photos and Proscope Photos are taken and reviewed with the patient.
Tracking results at the scalp level helps with patient compliance.
